I think there hasn't been an MV on this song but I also think that you have heard this already. Anyway, let's discuss this song.
Just the title alone, I felt compelled to listen to this song. Usually, we all hear the songs first before we know their titles. It was different for me in this case. The song's about a guy so happy with the one he loves and he thinks that if others would love each other like they do, the world would be a better place. I agree on that thought. :) The song is somewhat rock so if this is not your genre, I still suggest you try to listen it, just once.
The first two lines says, "From underneath the trees, we watch the skies; Confusing stars for satellites" So, I tilted it a bit to give it a different meaning and this is what I came up with. Isn't it a nice feeling when you & your loved ones just lay on the grass and stare at the wonder of the starry sky? It's one of those beautiful moments when you want to pause that second and live in it forever.
In the refrain which goes like, "Amen, I'm alive"... well, it says it all. Why not try what the song did, and sing "Amen, I'm alive!". Be truly thankful that you are alive and still are. Because a thousand dead would give everything to be in your place. Be thankful that you have been given to experience more of life when others have not, the second chances that others don't have the opportunity.
Moving on to the chorus. There comes the many "if"s. What if everyone cared and loved and nobody cried and lied? And most of all, what if everyone shared and SWALLOWED THEIR PRIDE? And the last line of the chorus isn't literal. When the song went nobody'd die, it means nobody would die with an unfulfilled life. An uncontented life.
The best part is the bridge. It gave a lesson. I'll leave that for you to reflect on. :)
