Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy by E.L. James

Wait! Don't go there, yet!

I know most of you are gonna say the words controversial, too much sex, erotic, rated PG, poorly written, Twilight-y, and every word relating negative about it. Yes, those words describe the book. Too much sex everywhere. This trilogy could be one heck of some sex education. Someone even gave it a genre: literotica (literature and erotic combined).

But!

Ever considered the story? At first, I was curious about this book and that's what made me read it. I was warned by my roommate (who hasn't read it yet) that this is one controversial book because of its eroticism. I gave it a go since critics everywhere also piqued my curiosity. For a very conservative person like myself, I decided that if the first book is too much (and doesn't enchant me to go on) I would just stop there. But the first book actually left me hanging and makes me keep on asking the question WHY?. So, onto the 2nd book... and the 3rd book. And done!

The 2nd book made me cry... twice! The 1st book was like an introduction to Christian Grey's lifestyle so it wasn't that very inspiring to read. But the ending was very hanging, like I should read the 2nd book because if I don't, nothing would make sense. The 2nd book shows Christian's vulnerabilities. That was something that made me cry. The 3rd book was what completed Christian's inner conflict. Christian's conflict was revealed little by little in the whole trilogy that's why I kept reading because as I go on, Christian reveals another puzzle piece of his past until in the end, it was complete and it made me understand his situation as why he is like that.

As I stated above, I'm a very conservative person, meaning, I don't like very erotic books even though I'm at legal age to read them. But then, make this trilogy an exception because it wasn't all about the sex parts. It's the story underneath. I just skipped the gory details of the sex parts. And just like every other book I've read, there's always a lesson or more that I'd obtained from it.

But I'm busy as of the moment. I only sneaked a post this time. So that means my next post will be the things that I got from the trilogy. Right now, I recommend you read the books, as in the whole trilogy. Don't stop, just keep on reading and you'll know understand why.

Until next time!

Marry Me by Train Piano Tribute

Hi there!
It has been ages since I last posted. School has started and has welcomed us with sufferings. Not that I'm complaining... just sayin'. :)

But, anyways, I'm here! So this post today is something I would like to share with you. Last night, while I was studying for my exam, I decided to listen to piano music in YouTube. I always study like that and, no, I don't fall asleep in that kind of music. With my headphones on (my roommates don't appreciate classical music that well), I sunk into tranquility study.

After a few piano covers from popular music, I clicked this piano cover of Marry Me by Train, hoping nothing and just wanting to hear anything piano. As the piece went on, I stopped reading my notes because the music was filling into me. We all know this song is a very sweet and touching but take the lyrics and change it to piano mode, and you'll feel what I felt. It brought tears into my eyes without knowing the real reason why. Maybe it's the music, the song, I don't know.

I urge you to listen the music, just click play above, with a box of tissues. Recommended for couples. I may be zero balance in the love department, but this song swept me off. Not because I don't have someone to relate this to, but because I know my Creator is setting me the right man at the right man... soon. ;)
